The Akrapovic Slip-On system is designed for riders who are looking for a base-level exhaust system modification. It is an excellent combination of performance, production quality and affordability, and a renowned brand name. The HEXAGONAL muffler design complements the sports styling of the Suzuki. The EC Type approval version of the system conforms to all regulations regarding exhaust system noise levels for street use.

Measurements of the Akrapovic SLIP-ON system on the SUZUKI GSX-R 600 (without muffler insert):

Power & Torque: the Akrapovic Slip-On system delivers increase engine responsiveness. The increase gradually expands from the low end up to around 7000 rpm. From there to the top of the range the increase remains at the same level. At 14000 rpm we measured 114.4 HP, with a max. increased power of 5.9 HP at 9200 rpm.

Power & Torque: even though it is a base-level system, the Akrapovic Slip-On delivers a considerable increase in power and torque. The effect can be seen from 5400 rpm on, and leads right to the very top of the range. At 13300 rpm we measured a healthy 140 HP. Max. increased power is 6.3 HP at 9400 rpm.

Production is completed entirely in Slovenia.
Sports exhausts with homologation for road use show a specific wording in the description and are delivered with a certificate to be kept with the motorbike or scooter registration.
