This kit solves a known problem of the 355 models. The original exhaust valves of the 355 need back pressure to completely open. If there is any lead in the back pressure system (porous tube, etc.) this would lead to the loss of the required back pressure and result in the original valves being unable to open anymore. Because of this, too much back pressure is produced in the upper rpm ranges. That is one of the causes why the headers of the 355 are damaged.

Our replacement kit includes an exhaust valve that works the other way around and, if there should be any defects in the back pressure system, would automatically open, and stay open. In addition, it also has our patented, free-from-play mounting, which also guarantees an optimal and vibration-free performance at high temperatures.

In addition, the kit also includes an electromagnetic valve, back pressure tube, two sealing rings and vacuum devices with heat protectors.

Attention: It is important to note that the electromagnetic valve included in the package is used, so that the performance of the exhaust valves is guaranteed. The original valve (black with black sockets) is located on the right side behind the rear bumper. If our electromagnetic valve would not be used, then the exhaust valves would be open during low RPM and by higher RPMs, instead of opening, it would close and the engine would be exposed to too much back pressure.
