Exhaust System 

Exhaust system for the Ferrari F348. The systems allows free flowing gasses through the silencer with no valves. It comes in the sound 1,2 and 3 of which 3 is the loudest possible and most popular version. 

We expressly point out that this exhaust system comes without the approval of the German TÜV authority. For this reason it is not allowed to use this exhaust on public roads in Germany and also partly not allowed in some other countries. Please observe the legal requirements in the respective country.

Sound 1: ca. 10 dBA louder than OEM

Sound 2: ca. 18 dBA louder than OEM

Sound 3: generates typical Ferrari F1 sound

In case of installing the sports catalytic converter, it may happen under some circumstances that the check engine light is triggered. 

Ferrari 348 TB with exhaust valves

Exhaust system for the Ferrari 348 TB. This system is comparable with the Capristo Sound 3, but with exhaust valves. This exhaust system can be installed using Capristo\\\'s custom mounting brackets which are supplied.
A simple wireless remote control is with this system. It has the ability to open and close the valves at a touch of a button.

In addition, the kit also includes an electromagnetic valve, back pressure tube, two sealing rings and vacuum devices with heat protectors.

Attention: It is important to note that the electromagnetic valve included in the package is used, so that the performance of the exhaust valves is guaranteed. The original valve (black with black sockets) is located on the right side behind the rear bumper. If our electromagnetic valve would not be used, then the exhaust valves would be open during low RPM and by higher RPMs, instead of opening, it would close and the engine would be exposed to too much back pressure.

It is imperative that our exhaust valves are operated using our electronic valves.

Manual Valve Control

In addition to our programmable control unit, we also have a simplified version to offer. Basically it can be attached on nearly all types of vehicles, which in-series have exhaust valves. Most of the in-series control units open and close the exhaust valves according to a set program pattern. With our control unit, we are able to control the flaps to open permanently, without the in-series control being able to intervene. When the exhaust valve system is closed again with the use of the remote control unit, then the in-series control unit will again take over the control of the exhaust valves.
